Dink, the Little Dinosaur is an American animated fantasy television series created by Chris Webber and Karen Willson. It was produced by Ruby-Spears for CBS' Saturday morning programming block. It ran from 1989 to 1990, airing 21 episodes that spanned two seasons. It was heavily inspired by Universal Pictures' children's animated film The Land Before Time in 1988.
In 1994, it was adopted by Hanna-Barbera via Turner Home Entertainment's six VHSes, evening giving the series its own then-current oblong logo as all the other Hanna-Barbera-produced series had on the box, and a Hanna-Barbera logo at the end of the Turner TV syndicated cuts.
The entire series has been released on DVD.
