Development

In the early 1960s, as opposed to the Loopy De Loop shorts, the shorts were originally pitched as a full-length theatrical series, but the idea of the concept never came through, and thus, the shorts were never produced.

It also went under the name "The Three Mooseketeers" during production.

The series would later be reworked into the Yippee, Yappee and Yahooey shorts featured on The Peter Potamus Show.
