William Alexander "Bud" Abbott was an American actor, comedian and film producer. For the Hanna-Barbera animation production company, he provided the voice of himself on The Abbott & Costello Cartoon Show.
Abbott died of prostate cancer on April 24, 1974 at the age of 76.
