"Calling Dr. Paddington" is the third episode of Paddington Bear season one. It aired on December 9, 1989 in syndicated markets that featured The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera programming blocks. It was written by Gordon Kent.
Paddington offers to wash the family's dirty clothes before they see Sir Sealy's play. The only problem is, he didn't tell them he was taking all their clothes out to the laundromat, leading the family to report a robbery which leads to Paddington's arrest. Then, after mistaking Sir Sealy's play for real life, Paddington helps with Sir Sealy's lines.
