Meet the Flintstones is an upcoming American animated film produced by Warner Bros. Picture Animation, based on Hanna-Barbera's The Flintstones, which aired on ABC from 1960 to 1966. It will be written by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic.[1]
Production
Development
Following the rebranding of Warner Animation Group to Warner Bros. Picture Animation on June 9, 2023, newly-appointed CEO Bill Damaschke announced that a Flintstones origin film is in early development. Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who previously directed for Illumination's The Super Mario Bros. Movie, are slated to be the writers of the film.[1]
