I've thought about the reasons why we in fact could include the DIC version, which would be that it only lasted 8 episodes, it would make the HB version a little more complete, and it would boost the DIC side of things that was started with Captain Planet. The one big reason why I felt there was no need to include DIC, however, other than it having nothing to do with what Hanna-Barbera did (the DIC changed the series a lot, including removing the original movie actors, and even Bill & Ted's clothes were changed for some reason), is that I feel that we got lucky that Hanna-Barbera got to do a cartoon of Bill & Ted to begin with, since they were just given the license to do it, it wasn't created by the studio.
