Donald James Yarmy, known professionally as Don Adams, was an American actor.
Adams died on September 25, 2005 from lung infection at the age of 82.

Other roles
Adams is best known for playing Maxwell Smart in the 1960s TV series Get Smart. He reprised the role in the theatrical film The Nude Bomb (1980).
As a voice actor, he portrayed the animated characters Tennessee Tuxedo and Inspector Gadget.
In 1979, Adams appeared in a TV commercial and on packaging for Ideal Toys' tabletop game Electronic Detective.
