I'm here for a simple purpose to create an encyclopedia for Hanna-Barbera in the most detailed way possible, specifically in behind the scenes facts of what went into making everything. I was at Scoobypedia on FANDOM, as well as other HB-themed sites, but I was never really happy there, and just tried to make the best of it (and I really did). Not only the way FANDOM handled things, but having to deal with rascally users. Some of these guys aren't cute (and I tried to talk to some of these guys and try and guide them the right way, but some of them didn't care, thought I was being bossy, ecetera, ectera), it gets annoying from small things to bigger things, and it's tough to maintain and Scoobypedia never got the level of a community I expected, especially since I was there for 10 years. It has a wide variety of fans, fans who have made blogs and forums, but nobody of that caliber cared to come to Scoobypedia. I appreciate help, and I got some fine help over the years, but not a lot of it was long term and has been wildly inconsistent at times. I also never really got anybody who was that great with coding. The worries and stress I had over there, I really hope is not here at all.

I have been slowly telling people about the site. People do know about it, and the more it grows, the better more people to know.

Notes

  • Cocoa Pebbles in "The Invitations"
  • Magilla Gorilla mentioned in "The Summer of George"
  • Comic Book Men
    • "Ghostbusting in the Stash", Mike's favourite cartoon was Josie and the Pussycats in Space, because it had songs in the middle of a bad guy showing up (not The Herculoids, as Kevin thought), Brian calls it "Spice Girls in Space", and Kevin says "They would've gotten away with it, too"
    • "Tough Sh*t", talking like The Smurfs, along with bedroom talk, which includes Gargamel.
    • "The Clash at the Stash", a seller mentions Hanna-Barbera in the Underoos line
    • "Stash Wars", they talk about living in the background of a cartoon, Mike picks Flintstones, Ming picks Jetsons, Brian picks Smurfs, which would put Lazy Smurf out of a job (Gargamel is also mentioned)
    • "To the Bat Cave": Walt says his favourite talking dog is Hong Kong Phooey, Mike's favourite is Astro
  • Venture Bros.: "Careers in Science", Manstrong mentions a Smurf.
