"The Beginning" is the second episode of Mike Tyson Mysteries season three, and the thirtieth overall. It aired on May 21, 2017 on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block. It was written by Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf, and Rachel Ramras, and produced and directed by Jeff Siergey.

Mike remembers back to 2001 when the team goes on their first mission to help President George W. Bush.
