This template is to be included on files. Its use is recommended and every image should have the proper category and source, i.e., the media it came from. The template is automatically applied to Special:Upload.

Parameters:

  • Description - A summary of the image that describes what the image is. Leaving this blank will put the file into Category:Files lacking a description.
  • Source - Where you got the image from. Include the series and episode name, for example, if it came from The Flintstones episode "The Flintstone Flyer." You must also write it as: TF: "The Flintstone Flyer." Only the initials of the series should be used, with the subtitle being the most preferred choice. The titling should be similarly used for comics with individual stories, and possibly for a video game, depending on if there are levels. Titles for movies can be written in full.

If editors continue to upload an empty template and/or not provide a category after being told to fill it out, a warning should be issued.
