Netflix is an American-based online video-on-demand subscription streaming service that provides either original content or content supplied by other studios. It is available to access in most countries.

Usually available more for American subscribers, Warner Bros. has loaned several cartoon series and direct-to-video movies of Scooby-Doo (series include What's New, Scooby-Doo? and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated), and Tom and Jerry (series is Tom and Jerry Tales), and The Powerpuff Girls. The live-action theatrical movies of Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones have popped up, as has Jetsons: The Movie.

In the 2020 theatrical film Scoob!, a joke was made at their expense when Fred was shocked that you actually had to pay to watch Netflix, instead of taking it from someone else as Dick Dastardly was with his mother.

On April 29, 2024, it was announced that Warner Bros. Television had paired up with Berlanti Productions to produce Scooby-Doo! The Live-Action Series, which had landed at Netflix.[1] It could happen, unless we get another Powerpuff situation on our hands.
