Boomerang is a channel that originally started out as a block on Cartoon Network on December 8, 1992, but was then spun off onto its own channel on April 1, 2000 where it used to be dedicated to playing classic Hanna-Barbera, MGM and Looney Tunes cartoons.

As of 2015, much to the disappointment of fans, the channel went through an extreme rebranding and rarely airs anything of Hanna-Barbera outside of the Scooby-Doo or Tom and Jerry franchise (and even then they're very particular about what it is), although some HB properties are available on Boomerang's SVOD service, a lot still remain unavailable.
