Mr. Slaghoople is the father of Wilma Flintstone in The Flintstone Kids animated TV series. He is voiced by Michael Rye. There was also a live-action incarnation called Colonel Slaghoople, played by Harvey Korman, in the film The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, a prequel to The Flintstones, in which he had likely had died beforehand.
Unlike the other fathers, Mr. Slaghoople was a stay-at-home father. His wife, Pearl, was the breadwinner, instead. They raised Wilma, along with her younger fraternal twin sisters, Micky and Mica, before Wilma got married to Fred and moved next door to Barney and Betty Rubble.
In the original Flintstones series, Pearl was implied to be a widow. Mr. Slaghoople himself is never mentioned.
