Hägar the Horrible is a 1989 American animated TV special based on the comic strip of the same name by Dik Browne. It aired on November 1, 1989 on CBS. The special was a joint production between Hanna-Barbera and King Features Entertainment. It was written by Douglas Wyman.
Hägar comes back after a two-year voyage to find his children going against Viking tradition.
