Mexico is a country located in the southern part of North America. With a population of almost 130 million, it is the tenth most populous country and houses the most Spanish speakers in the world. It is a federal constitutional republic comprising 31 states and its capital is Mexico City, which is among the world's most populous metropolitan areas. It also shares a border alongside the United States of America.
