If we decide on where to go on the whole "Segment vs. TV series" then I likely put back the show stuff. -- MisterJames (talk) 19:53, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

I relevantly recall his "John Smith" name from The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera issue 3, but since Hey There, it's Yogi Bear was before that it's better to reference the film instead. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 01:08, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

I don't really remember that. But a second backing of a source wouldn't hurt. -- MisterJames (talk) 10:05, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

Remember this on Boomerang?

"...Sure his job is dumb, but you'll hear him why! Because he wears a uniform that suits him just fine!" -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 04:46, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

Marvel subheading

You know what you're referencing from the Funtastic book, is that a quote or something you made up, because if it's the latter, it doesn't sound right. It sounds like you mean, "I wouldn't have suspected that." -- MisterJames (talk) 00:02, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

I've changed it. I made the heading up for the sake of it because just having the "Thursdays are missing!" heading (which I also made up) makes less sense for Smith considering he was the villain in disguise (when he was hypnotized by the actual villain behind the absent of Thursdays). -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 00:11, 27 January 2021 (UTC)

I Am Weasel

Boo Boo is reading a newspaper with the front page talking about Jellystone having been burnt down. I wonder if that's why Ranger Smith is in the villain ayslum? -- Signed by James (talk) 19:10, 27 February 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, that could be the reason, but the question remains, where's Yogi at? -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:49, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
You think he got caught in the fire? LOL. -- Signed by James (talk) 20:43, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

Flashback

I get where your going with that on the character pages, but is it okay to mention them on the episode pages? -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 00:07, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

No, for the same reason. -- Signed by James (talk) 09:16, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Calling Mr. Ranger

Should we count all of the pre-known Ranger Smith as being Ranger Smith? At least when he's voiced by Don Messick. -- Signed by James (talk) 20:42, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

I'm thinking of the same thing too. If were going to count the appearances of the all the park rangers before Smith's formal introduction in "Lullabye-Bye Bear," wasn't Ranger Smith not referred to by name until that point? It appears that we may have been looking at different people who look similar to him. If I recall correctly, then there is an episode from season one of The Huckleberry Hound Show where one of them was named "Ranger Mack". In "The Buzzin Bear," there was an unnamed ranger that (as predictable as sounds) looks similar to Smith, in addition to another one with no hair. It's sort of complicated when you think about it, and I admit that I'm not the only person who's sort of aware of that fact. -- QuestJ65 (talk) 21:57, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
