Wonder Wheels is a series of animated segments as part of the Skatebirds, produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for CBS's Saturday morning children's programming debuting. It ran in 1977, airing 16 episodes that spanned one season.
High school journalist, Willie Wheeler and his girlfriend Dooley solve crimes with the help of his shape-shifting motorcycle, Wonder Wheels. At any time Willie goes into action, his beat-up motorcycle transforms itself into a robust and heroic vehicle with a mind of its own.
