Is it Hokey or is it Wacko?

According to Yowp, originally Hokey was supposed to be named "Wacko Wolf" but a similar looking character from Bozo: The World's Most Famous Clown was already using that name and that's why it was changed. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 17:53, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

DVD

I hope WB decides to release the complete series onto DVD. I think their planning to because two of Hokey's episodes were on the DVD, "Best of Warner Bros. 25 Cartoon Collection: Hanna-Barbera" and some of Loopy De Loop's shorts were on there only later for WB to release the entire series of Loopy on DVD so I don't see a reason why this one can't have it's own. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 19:45, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

The problem with Hokey is that he belongs with Huckleberry, while Loopy De Loop is unto itself. I can't imagine much interest in doing Hokey separately. On the other hand, they did separate Wally Gator, but then where does that leave the Lippy the Lion and Touché Turtle? -- MisterJames (talk) 20:44, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

Year Dates

I was surprised to find that Yowp's blog claimed "Bean Pod'ners" (which was the last episode of the series) aired in 1961 and not 1962, meaning that these episodes most likely aired in incorrect production order. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 09:54, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

Underscore music

Touché Turtle, why he wasn't released on DVD and why we probably won't see him.

I know this doesn't exactly relate to Hokey but, due to outdated and dark turns some HB shows had, we probably won't see them on DVD anytime soon. Touché Turtle will most likely be one of them not to be released on DVD. According to this blog, Touché had some pretty dark stuff in it which is most likely the reason WB didn't release Touché, but released Wally and Lippy on DVD. So unless WB decides to remaster Touché's cartoons, we will most likely not see them on DVD. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 07:42, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Mr. and Mrs. J. Evil Scientist

Originally instead of Hokey, Mr. and Mrs. J. Evil Scientist were going to be Yogi's replacement segment on Huck's show, which is interesting but doesn't really fit with what it's replacing at the same time. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 07:01, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
