"What's New, Scooby-Doo?" is a song originally written by Rich Dickerson and Gigi Meroni. It is the theme song for the 2003 series of the same name. It was sung by Simple Plan.

History

Simple Plan also did a music video, but it was to promote the 2004 live-action theatrical film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.

Lyrics

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

We're coming after you.

You're gonna solve that mystery.

I see you, Scooby-Doo;

The trail leads back to you.

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

We're gonna follow you.

You're gonna solve that mystery.

We see you, Scooby-Doo;

We're coming after you.

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

Don't look back!

You may find another clue.

The Scooby snacks* will be waiting here for you.

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

We're coming after you.

You're gonna solve that mystery.

I see you, Scooby-Doo;

The trail leads back to you.

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

Na, na, na, na, na

Na, na, na, na, na

Na, na, na, na, na, na

Na, na, na, na, na

Na, na, na, na, na

What's new, Scooby-Doo?

Anarbor version

Anarbor did a cover used in the final scene of the 2009 live-action television film Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins. Warner Bros. loved this version so much, that they used it in the trailers for the animated direct-to-video films between 2013 to 2015, Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright, Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery, Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy, and Scooby-Doo! and Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery, despite not being What's New, Scooby-Doo?-themed, which Warner Bros. did do, but didn't use the "What's New, Scooby-Doo?" theme song in trailers when it counted back then.
