I'm here for a simple purpose to create an encyclopedia for Hanna-Barbera in the most detailed way possible; who appears in what, behind the scenes facts of what went into making everything. I was at Scoobypedia on FANDOM, as well as other HB-themed sites, but I was never really happy there, and just tried to make the best of it (and I really did). Not only the way FANDOM handled things, but having to deal with rascally users. Some of these guys aren't cute (and I tried to talk to some of these guys and try and guide them the right way, but some of them didn't care, thought I was being bossy, ecetera, ectera), it gets annoying from small things to bigger things, and it's tough to maintain and Scoobypedia never got the level of a community I expected, especially since I was there for 10 years. It has a wide variety of fans, fans who have made blogs and forums, but nobody of that caliber cared to come to Scoobypedia. I appreciate help, and I got some fine help over the years, but not a lot of it was long term and has been wildly inconsistent at times. I also never really got anybody who was that great with coding. The worries and stress I had over there, I really hope is not here at all.

I have been slowly telling people about the site. People do know about it, and the more it grows, the better more people to know.

Notes

  • The Flintstones, Fred, Wilma mentioned in Police Academy 2
  • Seinfeld
    • Fruity Pebbles appears in "The Caddy", "The Seven", "The Cadillac" (part 1), "The Showerhead", "The Doll", "The Friars Club" (Kramer uses the box), "The Calzone" (both Jerry and Newman have a box, probably the same box), "The Bottle Deposit", "The Wait Out", "The Invitations", "The Fountain", "The Soul Mate", "The Bizarro Jerry", "The Little Kicks", "The Package", "The Fatigues", "The Checks", "The Chicken Roaster", "The Abstinence", "The Andrea Dora", "The Little Jerry", "The Comeback", "The Money", "The Van Buren Boys", "The Susie", "The Pothole", "The English Patient"
    • Cocoa Pebbles in "The Invitations"
    • Magilla Gorilla mentioned in "The Summer of George" (deleted scene)
  • Comic Book Men
    • "Ghostbusting in the Stash", Mike's favourite cartoon was Josie and the Pussycats in Space, because it had songs in the middle of a bad guy showing up (not The Herculoids, as Kevin thought), Brian calls it "Spice Girls in Space", and Kevin says "They would've gotten away with it, too"
    • "Tough Sh*t", talking like The Smurfs, along with bedroom talk, which includes Gargamel.
    • "The Clash at the Stash", a seller mentions Hanna-Barbera in the Underoos line
    • "Stash Wars", they talk about living in the background of a cartoon, Mike picks Flintstones, Ming picks Jetsons, Brian picks Smurfs, which would put Lazy Smurf out of a job (Gargamel is also mentioned)
    • "To the Bat Cave": Walt says his favourite talking dog is Hong Kong Phooey, Mike's favourite is Astro; Walt would want to base his man cave on Bedrock
    • "USS Ming": DC Comics' Space Ghost #5 in the background; there was also a poster in the background.
    • "Dukes of Jersey": Kevin used Hong Kong Phooey as an example of being a fan of something, but wouldn't be so drastic as to get a tattoo of a show he may later have no interest in.
    • "Batcycle on Broad": Ming said Mike looked like the Great Gazoo while wearing his motorcycle helmet.
    • "Turtle Time": Walt says that Touche Turtle is his favourite original turtle.
    • "Stashbusters": A seller brings in a Soaky of Secret Squirrel.
    • "Dragging Rights": A HB collector brings in a Happy Days cel to sell with Fonz and Mr. Cool. Bryan buys it for Walt at £200.
    • "Wookiee Fever": Mike said he would want his pet to be Igoo from The Herculoids; when Peter Mayhew said he had his feet hanging out of the Millennium Falcon, Brian compared him to being Fred Flintstone.
    • "Holy Zap Copter": Mike thought The Smurfs was the most outlandish cartoon, Walt thought The Gary Coleman Show
    • "Captain and the Clerk": Kevin begins the show by declaring it the only one to be smart enough to keep Scooby away from Groot.
    • "KITT and Caboodle": Walt mentions how Hong Kong Phooey was created during the kung fu craze of the 1970s.
    • "Wurst Episode Ever": When Walt asks the staff what their official animal watchdog would be for the Stash, Ming replies Yogi, which Walt thinks is a terrible idea, because all he does is steal picnic baskets.
    • "Bats Ahoy!": Walt proposes if Mystery Inc. are better detectives than Batman, which Ming doesn't agree with.
    • "Daughter of the Demon": A seller comes in with Dynomutt #1, and Walt buys it for £15. Walt says that Hanna-Barbera is better than Disney in terms of original characters
    • "Canine Crusaders": Walt dresses as Dynomutt judging the dog contest.
  • Venture Bros.
    • "Careers in Science": Manstrong mentions Smurfs.
    • "Are You There God, It's Me, Dean": Smurfette is referred to, Papa Smurf is mentioned by name.
  • Field of Dreams: Karin has a Smurfs glass.
