"Turu the Terrible" is the fifteenth episode of Jonny Quest season one. It aired on December 25, 1964 on ABC. It was written by William D. Hamilton, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.
While searching for a rare mineral in the Amazon jungle, Doctor Quest and Race discover a Pteranodon trained by a wheelchair-bound slave driver, who uses it to capture and guard native workers needed for his mining operation.
