Tom & Jerry is a 2021 live-action/2-D animated slapstick comedy film based on the animated Tom and Jerry theatrical shorts. A film was first announced in 2015, but didn't get real traction until 2018, when Tim Story was announced as director, using a script by Craig Wright, Katie Silberman, April Posser, and Kevin Costello. It will be distributed to theaters by Warner Bros. Pictures on March 5, 2021.
To rid the hotel of a mouse (Jerry) that Kayla works at, she hires a cat (Tom) to get rid of him in time for an upcoming wedding. But she has more to worry about when her manager gets jealous of her good work.
