Release

Dates are in order of release:

  • United States: January 18, 1995 on VHS

Behind the scenes

  • The VHS also features a ten second advertisement from Space Ghost before the film starts, telling the viewer to stick around for the special episode after the film.
  • Space Ghost refers to Chuck Russell by his full name of Charles Russell, which is actually his credit in The Mask. Space Ghost then refers to him as Chuck later on, and this special's credits list him as Chuck Russell.
  • Special thanks are given to Hanna-Barbera, Fred Seibert, Butterbean, Tom Roche, Roy Clements, and New Line Cinema.
  • The other star of the movie Cameron Diaz was presumably interviewed for the same purpose, but cut for time. The remnants of this interview are briefly used for "Surprise" in 1996.

Errors

Everlasting influence

  • This special did end up airing on TV, but only as part of another special, when it was edited together with "Story Book House" to make "Le Livre d'Histoire," which was presented by Lokar. The parts about Milo the dog are cut out.
