Talk:Speed Buggy (character)

I don't know what the context will be, but there's this new DTV horror movie coming out from Warner Bros., created through Blue Ribbon Content, called Toys of Terror, which features a toy strongly resembling Speed Buggy on the front cover. Blue Ribbon Content also made The Banana Splits Movie. -- MisterJames (talk) 10:59, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

Page move

Since there's a Charlton comic (and then the Murray reprint), it would seem that this page needs renaming to "Speed Buggy (character)". -- MisterJames (talk) 18:44, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

I'm not entirely sure the Murray page would be necessary, but either way there's still the TV series and Charlton comic. -- MisterJames (talk) 18:47, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Seems like a good idea. I'll rename the article. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:49, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Origin

It's weird how his origin was different from the original series in the DC comic. It actually did show us how he was built in the intro for the series - He was simply built by Tinker, Mark and Debbie. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:15, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

I can't believe they named the scientist M. Blanc. -- MisterJames (talk) 20:21, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Scooby characters

Because of most of the Speed Bugs' appearances being with Scooby, they count more as Scooby characters than the other clones do. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 21:33, 18 January 2021 (UTC)

I don't know what the appeal about that is, but I guess the talking car part is one thing, while the others are just animals, which Scooby already is. None of the clones had appearances in the Team-Up comic, which I think was a major opportunity lost, but at least there's the Cavey and Teen Angels guest appearances in Marvel's Scooby-Doo. -- MisterJames (talk) 22:21, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
