Greenblatt on Tumblr

Things he's confirmed:

  • Yo, Yogi! will be canon. I guess because Jellystone is a town in Jellystone!
  • The Neptunes and Teen Angles will appear, I think as cameos, which makes sense if Jabberjaw and Captain Caveman will appear, respectively.
  • Blip won't be in it
  • Muttley might be in it
  • Hong Kong Phooey might be in it
  • Banana Splits will appear
  • Birdman and other human superheroes won't appear. He says that only animals will appear as if implying that the Neptunes and Teen Angels would have to be animals... And Captain Caveman isn't exactly an animal either.

-- MisterJames (talk) 12:03, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

He also said if the show goes on long enough. Everyone will appear when someone asked him about Secret Squirrel and Snooper and Blabber meaning they will also most likely appear. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 15:32, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
I guess Hokey and Loopy De Loop were confirmed[1].
Yeah, I wondered about that. Since Hokey's already in the promo art, his appearance is assured, but not sure about Loopy De Loop. -- MisterJames (talk) 10:59, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
Since Hokey was a major part in some of the crossovers, it pretty much becomes obvious he was going to appear. Loopy was a more rare character when it comes to crossovers, I think he appeared in Yo, Yogi! and one of the Laff-a-Lympics comics, but I'm not sure where else he appeared outside of his own show. Which promo included Hokey? He wasn't in the first promo picture. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 15:39, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
I'd like to retract my comment before, I just realised that it was Mildew Wolf. Loopy was in Yo, Yogi! He was the owner of the picnic basket-shaped restaurant. -- MisterJames (talk) 18:25, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
I saw he posted the logo[2]. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 01:45, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

So no new news about this series? -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 16:39, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

He and everyone else have gone quiet. -- MisterJames (talk) 18:36, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
I heard one of the crew members confirmed that he wasn't allowed to post anymore art on Twitter (or Facebook?), so they might be working on it while being completely silent now. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 23:03, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Here's what other stuff I found out:

  • The show will in fact, likely be aimed towards an older audience, this is hinted when a few doodles of Yogi, Boo Boo and Cindy were posted to Twitter drinking White Claw.
  • Not only will Jabberjaw be genderbended, but other art that was revealed showed us that Augie and Dixie (of Pixie and Dixie) also will.
  • Ruff appears to be more of a cyborg for this series.

-- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 19:17, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

I guess those characters are actually transgender[3], Ruff and Reddy really do appear to be cyborgs and I was actually wrong about it being aimed towards adults because the White Claw thing was just a joke. Appears they nearly made that Boo Boo cancel meme canon too[4], lol. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 06:17, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
I wasn't sure about them being transgender because she used the transgender flags, but I thought that was because there wasn't any gender bending flags out there. I can't imagine that every single one of them is female now because they're trans. -- Signed by James (talk) 05:46, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
My mistake, those are the colours representing gender bending. I mean, one of them could be more than simply gender switched, but I still can't believe every single one of them would be. It's simply a matter of them needing more females, when Hanna-Barbera didn't create enough. -- Signed by James (talk) 05:53, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
I'm not too sure if they are transgender or just gender bended, I think they are most likely gender bended, given that, we can also say Jellystone! is in it's own universe (it doesn't seem to have connection to what came before), you are right though, HB didn't have many main female characters, so I also think they did that to make up the number of how many female characters there are. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 06:45, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

Other people's works

Top Cat and his entire gang will appear. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-F-6t_DEuX/ -- MisterJames (talk) 12:57, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

Jellystone! characters

Should we have a "Jellystone! characters" category? We could store the confirmed characters in there. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 19:19, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

I was also thinking if we should do that in advance, so yes. -- MisterJames (talk) 20:30, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

Release date

We know it won't come out before July 1st[5]. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 16:47, 10 June 2021 (UTC)

Which is just beyond disappointing because Tom and Jerry in New York is. -- Signed by James (talk) 18:24, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
Apparently it is said that they are done with the episodes, but it's taking awhile for HBO Max to add them. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 19:05, 10 June 2021 (UTC)

Characters who haven't been seen yet

Although I'm of course excited for this series, the following characters have so far not appeared for the trailer or in the cast:

  • Hokey Wolf
  • Fibber Fox
  • Alfy Gator
  • Dum Dum
  • Beegle Beagle
  • Hair Bear Bunch
  • Speed Buggy (no idea if they are going to include him and the associates, but it would be a cool addition)
  • Neptunes (besides JJ)
  • Brenda
  • Bristlehound
  • Any human associate (like Ranger Smith, Dibble, Winchley, Fuzzby, the King, Peebles .etc)
  • Breezly and Sneezly
  • Kwicky Koala
  • Wilford Wolf
  • Crazy Claws (and associates)
  • The Bungle Brothers
  • Dirty Dawg (and associates)
  • Cattanooga Cats
  • Around the World in 79 Days characters (if they are going to be included)
  • Sheena and Zelda (from Heyyy, It's the King!; I'm kinda bummed that they instead of including the female associates, turned one of the already male characters female)
  • CB Bears
  • Blast-Off Buzzard
  • Crazylegs
  • Undercover Elephant and Loudmouse
  • Atom Ant
  • Secret Squirrel
  • Morocco Mole
  • Precious Pup (but they got Granny Sweet)
  • Dick Dastardly
  • Muttley
  • Mumbly
  • Really Rottens members (unlikely to appear)
  • Hong Kong Phooey and Spot
  • Wacky Races competitors

What's your thoughts on some of these, I was definitely surprised when I saw the characters from Heyyy, it's the King as I didn't think they would have included them. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:28, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

Some of the characters in the trailer, I didn't recognize. I was surprised by the Banana Splits. Except for the live-action horror movie, they haven't had much attention. I think it will be good for them. I imagine that the trailer was only the tip of the iceberg of what's to come. -- Signed by James (talk) 21:16, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
When you were referring to "the ones you didn't recognize" I guess you were mainly referring to the Heyyy, it's the King characters, which yeah they were pretty obscure which is why I was surprised to see them. That Banana Spilts film was pretty gruesome (especially once you realize it was once a kids show), but Greenblatt mentioned before that they would appear which people had mixed feelings about them appearing. I forgot to mention Snooper and Blabber on the list. Speaking of the Banana Splits, HB actually made a clone of that series called "Skate Birds". -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 21:32, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
Also forgot to list Ricochet Rabbit, Droop-a-Long, Punkin' Puss, Mushmouse, Motormouse and Autocat. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 02:23, 26 June 2021 (UTC)

Yo, Yogi!

I mean Greenblatt confirmed it would be canon to Yo, Yogi!, but the trailer looks far different from Yo, Yogi! don't get me wrong, they were living in a town like in Yo, Yogi!, but that's really the only connection I could find. I would be in favor of saying this one is probably not canon like Yo, Yogi! pretty much wasn't either, lol. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 17:41, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
