For the longest time, I've seen people point out that alot of HB classics were "clones", "ripoffs" or "duplicates" of earlier shows made by themselves, especially in the 60s my guess is that they were actually reusing the same ideas when it came to the 60s and 70s, '''examples?:''' I'll take an example from Hokey's show (which was the most apparent reused idea), Hokey's plot lines are very similar to what we had with the Yogi shorts in the 50s and to make things better, Top Cat was also a suspect in this when some of the plots started to be reused from what we had from Hokey. It might very well have been a tradition for HB to reuse the same ideas on repeat but that doesn't make them unwatchable. -- [[User:Snoopy The Dog|Snoopy The Dog]] ([[User talk:Snoopy The Dog|talk]]) 05:40, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Clones or Ripoffs?

For the longest time, I've seen people point out that alot of HB classics were "clones", "ripoffs" or "duplicates" of earlier shows made by themselves, especially in the 60s my guess is that they were actually reusing the same ideas when it came to the 60s and 70s, examples?: I'll take an example from Hokey's show (which was the most apparent reused idea), Hokey's plot lines are very similar to what we had with the Yogi shorts in the 50s and to make things better, Top Cat was also a suspect in this when some of the plots started to be reused from what we had from Hokey. It might very well have been a tradition for HB to reuse the same ideas on repeat but that doesn't make them unwatchable. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 05:40, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
