'"Spacely for a Day" is the tenth episode of The Jetsons season three, and the seventy-third and final overall. It aired on November 12, 1987 in syndicated markets that featured The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera programming blocks. It was written by Haskell Barkin, and voice directed by Gordon Hunt.

After Spacely is guilted into taking a thirty-year long overdue vacation with his wife, he is forced to find a substitute to run his plant, with George fulfilling the requirements necessary. With Spacely out the way, Mr. Cogswell sees this as the perfect opportunity to ruin the company.
