Behind the scenes

  • This is the first episode not to have the involvement of series co-creator, Zac Moncrief, who had quit due to creative differences.
  • In the opening scene, Darkbrook is filled with still disguised-convicted villains from past episodes, including the sea creature from "All Paws on Deck," the alien from "In Space," and the Grim Reaper from "Mysteries on the Disorient Express."
  • Professor Huh?'s inmate number is 5512, which is the birth date of writer Jon Colton Barry's son.[2]
  • Rose was Fred's childhood friend from "Halloween."
  • A special thanks is given to Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, who had nothing to do with this episode, but did create the original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
