"Phoney Pony" is the first episode of Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har season two, and the twenty-seventh episode overall. It came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on March 4, 1963 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Lippy and Hardy, disguised as a horse, seek shelter, during which a thief robs a sweepstakes race nearby, and uses them as his getaway horse from the police.
