Papa Smurf is the leader of the Smurfs, and one of the main characters in the animated TV series The Smurfs. He is voiced by Don Messick.
Papa's responsibility is to ensure the inhabitants in the Smurf Village to live in peace, and guard them from any danger that exists within the Smurf Forest.
