Behind the scenes

  • The episode title is an allusion to Agatha Christie's 1934 book Murder on the Orient Express.
  • The Mystery Machine is absent.
  • The scene where Daphne substitutes a nose mask with nose plugs was cut from countries outside of the US. Interestingly, in the UK, while it was removed from Boomerang, it was restored when it aired on CITV. The scene has also been kept when purchasing on pay video sites.
  • A special thanks is given to Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, who had nothing to do with this episode, but did create the original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
