"Max Goes to Washington" is the first episode of Capitol Critters season one. It aired on January 28, 1992 on CBS. It was written by series creator, Nat Mauldin.

After Max's family is killed by exterminators, Max moves in with his relatives in Washington, D.C., underneath the White House. But it may be short-lived when the White House also calls for an exterminator.
