It also features their work spun off into different studios and parent companies, and Ruby-Spears' work while the studio was owned by Taft Broadcasting/American Broadcasting Company, which also owned Hanna-Barbera. In 1991, the intellectual properties of Hanna-Barbera and Ruby-Spears were purchased by Turner Broadcasting System, which in turn, was merged with TimeWarner (now WarnerMedia Warner Bros. Discovery) in 1996, and remain with the company today. Check to see if your favorite Hanna-Barbera series or movie has been added to Boomerang or HBO Max (US residents only).
