Jonny Quest is a young boy and the titular character of Jonny Quest animated franchise. His voice was originated by Tim Matheson, then credited as Tim Matthieson.
He is an adventurer at heart and gets into escapades when he travels with his scientist father, Dr. Benton Quest. He is also joined by his best friend and adopted brother, an Indian child called Hadji, their bodyguard, Race Bannon, and pet dog, Bandit. During the 1980s and 1990s, he was joined by the rock creature, Hardrock, and Race's daughter, Jessie, respectively.
Jonny is featured as a background character in the Jellystone! reboot. In this version, he is now all grown up and runs Quest Bowl, the local bowling alley, with Hadji, who is also his husband.[1]
