Similarly to The Simpsons couch gag, where something different happens every time the Simpsons family would run to their couch in the opening theme song, different accidents knock down buildings in a domino-like effect in the Jellystone! theme song:
# Bleep's spaceship
# Mildew knocks into a fire hydrant
# Grape Ape's large body
# Speed Buggy revs up
# Snooper, Blabber, Inch High, and Undercover Elephant searching for clues but Blabber trips on Inch High, Snooper crashes into him and Undercover crashes into her and knocks over one of the buldings, causing the domino effect.
# Tubb taking a bite of a hot dog but the weenie falls out and crashes into a building.
# Dick Dastardly ordering Muttley to knock over the buildings.

Jellystone! is an American animated slapstick comedy web television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation for Max, formerly HBO Max. It began in 2021. It is the seventh Yogi Bear series after The Yogi Bear Show, and features guest appearances of characters from other Hanna-Barbera series.

In the town of Jellystone, Yogi, Boo Boo, and Cindy work as residents of Jellystone Hospital, where they are regularly called upon to provide medical assistance in comical emergencies. The day-to-day lives of Jellystone's citizens is also chronicled, which include but are not limited to, Mayor Huckleberry Hound, Mr. Jinks, Augie Doggie, Doggie Daddy, Jabberjaw, Squiddly Diddly, Loopy De Loop, El Kabong, Top Cat, Captain Caveman, Peter Potamus, Snagglepuss, Magilla Gorilla, Jonny Quest, Hadji, and Shazzan.

Throughout the series, various guest stars would recurrently make appearances, such as Winnie Witch, Mildew Wolf, Grape Ape, Pixie and Dixie, Paw Rugg, Maw Rugg, Floral Rugg, Yippee, Yappee, Yahooey, Lambsy Divey, Bristlehound, Ding-a-Ling, Hokey Wolf, Ruff, Reddy, The King, Yuka Yuka, Clyde, Big H, Skids, Hair Bear Bunch, CB Bears, the Neptunes, the Teen Angels, Clue Club, Snooper, and Blabber.

Production

Development

C.H. Greenblatt began development in February 2018, taking a year and a half to get the series approved, when it officially went into production in August 2019.[1] It was officially announced on October 29, 2019.[2] For the first few months, work began in the studio, although the crew was forced to work from home when the COVID-19 lockdown began. Despite continuing, the production took twice as long, because of direct contact in the studio being substituted with video chats and online screenings.[3]

Characters that won't appear in the beginning, may appear later on if the series goes on long enough.[4]

An official press release and trailer were unveiled on June 24, 2021.[5]

On February 22, 2022, WarnerMedia announced the second season (or more likely the first half of season 1) would drop on HBO Max in the next month, on March 17, consisting of 19 episodes.[6]

On March 2, 2022, WarnerMedia ordered 40 more episodes.[7] These will begin airing on February 22, 2024.

Casting

Sarah Noonan and Agnes Kim were the casting directors.

Jeff Bergman was announced to be voicing Yogi, among unspecified others, in September 2020.[8] The rest of Bergman's roles and further cast, such as Greenblatt voicing Boo Boo, among others, was revealed on June 24, 2021.[5]

Andy Merrill, who previously voiced Brak on Space Ghost Coast to Coast and The Brak Show, confirmed in a tweet that he reprised his role for an upcoming episode.[9]

As accidentally revealed by his talent agency in an Instagram post, Greg Eagles, the voice of Grim in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, will reprise his role for an upcoming special which will see various non Hanna-Barbera cartoons appear in Jellystone following a rift through time and space.[10]

Music

The music and themes were composed by Ego Plum.

Episodes

Similarly to The Simpsons couch gag, where something different happens every time the Simpsons family would run to their couch in the opening theme song, different accidents knock down buildings in a domino-like effect in the Jellystone! theme song:

 1. Bleep's spaceship
 2. Mildew knocks into a fire hydrant
 3. Grape Ape's large body
 4. Speed Buggy revs up
 5. Snooper, Blabber, Inch High, and Undercover Elephant searching for clues but Blabber trips on Inch High, Snooper crashes into him and Undercover crashes into her and knocks over one of the buldings, causing the domino effect.
 6. Tubb taking a bite of a hot dog but the weenie falls out and crashes into a building.
 7. Dick Dastardly ordering Muttley to knock over the buildings.
