The entire series has also been released on DVD. The series has also been released on various VHSes in the late 1980s.

Production

Development

In order to compete against CBS's Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, ABC wanted Hanna-Barbera to make a similar series, which resulted in the creation of Goober and the Ghost Chasers, as well as other clones, such as The Funky Phantom, Speed Buggy and Jabberjaw, all of which, also premiering on ABC.

The Partridge Kids, who were popular during the 1970s, also had regular guest appearances, which was likely done to grab more viewer interest.

The series however, was unsuccessful, and was cancelled after only sixteen episodes.

Music

The music was composed by Hoyt Curtin.

In this appearance, Ted, Tina and Gilly are voiced by Dana Snyder, Jenny Lorenzo and C.H. Greenblatt, respectively, while Goober isn't voiced.
