"Foxy Grandma" is the twenty-first episode of The Flintstones season three, and the eighty-first overall. It aired on February 8, 1963 on ABC. It was written by Herb Finn, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the creators of the series and the founders of Hanna-Barbera Productions.
Fred hires a little old grandma to work as his housekeeper to avoid getting his mother-in-law's help while Wilma is pregnant. Little does he know, that this unassuming grandma is a notorious bank thief.

Filming
The cast was recorded on August 30, 1962.[1] Although airing correctly, Hanna-Barbera was a little too ahead of itself, as the episode in which Wilma informs Fred that she is pregnant with Pebbles was in fact the next episode recorded after this on September 4.[2]

- This is the last episode that Verna Felton voices Pearl Slaghoople, with Janet Waldo replacing her in "Fred El Terrifico."
Errors
- In this episode, Fred would rather pay a service for help than get his mother-in-law to help out for free. But previously in "The Little Stranger," when Fred believed Wilma to be pregnant, he decided to call on his mother-in-law, instead of paying for a nurse to save money.
