In 1976, Fawcett recieved international stardom for the starring role of Jill Munroe in the first season of Charlie's Angels. She left the series in spring of 1977, after numerous reasons that were explained in the years since; among which include dissatisfaction with both her salary and the material, and frustrations with balancing the show's duties with her marriage at the time.[1] Despite being replaced by Cheryl Ladd as Jill's sister, Kris Munroe, Fawcette later appears in six episodes of the show's third and fourth seasons (19781980).
