"Drop Me a Lion" is the twenty-first episode of Lippy the Lion and Hardy Har Har season two, and the forty-seventh episode overall. It came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on July 22, 1963 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

After being fired once more, Lippy and Hardy are asked to deliver a subpoena to Gorilla Jones, a man with an aggressive attitude.
