:Interesting. It seems that adding Scooby's name at the beginning was simply a marketing ploy, which was presumably because ABC was airing Scooby's own show then. Within the show itself, I don't find it really focuses on Scooby, Shaggy, and Dum anymore so because of the title. -- MisterJames (talk) 22:46, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

:: I was rethinking what I said, since that was because of The Scooby-Doo Show, it doesn't really count, however I did hear in some episodes the announcer say "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics", so maybe the event is partly called that within the universe? Or maybe it's just a mishap in the episodes' scripts? -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 23:26, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
:::Really?! That's fascinating. That will be something worth going back to. This makes me more torn, between it being somewhat Scooby's show, to being its own independent thing, to being a Yogi show (especially when you take into account the comics were more about the Yogis vs. the Rottens, than anything really to do with the Scoobys). -- MisterJames (talk) 00:00, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
:::: Additionally, if we had a "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics characters" category as a subcategory, I don't think that would have worked ether. As I've seen it, Yogi isn't much mainstream in the series ether to count that under "Yogi Bear characters", it seems that since HB was obsessed with their "Scooby clones" at the time (in the 70s) Scooby wasn't the main focus of the series. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 07:38, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

This series seems to fit more under "Scooby-Doo characters" than "Yogi Bear characters" as it's more of Scooby's show with some guest stars and other characters shoved into it, it seems that way considering his name is in the title. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 19:00, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Interesting.
I was rethinking what I said, since that was because of The Scooby-Doo Show, it doesn't really count, however I did hear in some episodes the announcer say "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics", so maybe the event is partly called that within the universe? Or maybe it's just a mishap in the episodes' scripts? -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 23:26, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
Really?!
Additionally, if we had a "Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics characters" category as a subcategory, I don't think that would have worked ether.
