The CB Bears is an animated American television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for NBC's Saturday morning children's programming. It ran in 1977, airing 13 episodes.

This series featured six segments making it one of the longest (content-wise) HB series in the 70's.

The show was an anthology series, which debuted with segments, CB Bears, Blast-Off Buzzard, Heyyy, It's the King!, Posse Impossible, Shake, Rattle and Roll and Undercover Elephant.

The show was split up into a half-hour format with CB Bears, Blast-Off Buzzard and Posse Impossible on one half, and Heyyy, It's the King!, Shake, Rattle and Roll and Undercover Elephant on the other half.

The series only lasted 13 episodes, though it isn't actually clear as to why it was canceled so quick, it's most likely due to low ratings.

Aspects of the show would later air part of Captain Kangaroo in the 1980s and on the two-hour program, Go Go Globetrotters on February 4, 1978. Episodes of Undercover Elephant also aired as reruns part of Disney's Jump, Rattle & Roll.

The entire series was possibly going to be planned for a DVD release at some point.[1] With WB's promotional art being the only evidence supporting this claim.
