Release

Dates are in order of release:

  • United States: December 16, 1998 on Cartoon Network

Behind the scenes

  • Talking Dog has an owner in this episode.
  • The Mayor's wife called him Barney, a name that hasn't resurfaced since. In fact, when he was announced in "Impeach Fuzz," he was still referred to as the Mayor even when he had been (temporarily) succeeded by Fuzzy Lumpkins.
  • One of the monsters is a Carmen Miranda type.
  • The climax of the Powerpuff Girls destroying the giant disco ball blocking the sun is a direct reference to the Rebels destroying the Death Star in the 1977 film Star Wars.

Errors

  • Buttercup made a snapping sound with her hand despite not having fingers.
