William H. Thompson was an American radio personality and voice actor. At MGM's cartoon studio, he was the main voice of Droopy. For Hanna-Barbera, he provided the voice of Touché Turtle on the Touché Turtle and Dum Dum shorts.
Thompson passed away of septic shock on July 15, 1971, at the age of 58.
