Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures is an American animated sci-fi comedy-adventure TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera, in association with Orion Television Entertainment and Nelson Entertainment, for CBS' Saturday morning block. It is a continuation of the 1989 live-action film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, with the same actors reprising the titular characters. The animated series had a short run during the fall of 1990, running for 13 episodes. It did technically receive a second season of eight episodes in the fall of 1991, but this was produced by DiC for Fox Kids, instead, who hired different actors who would go onto star in a 1992 live-action TV series, as well. The lesser DiC incarnation won't be covered here.

Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan are teenage slackers who are destined to bring the world together in harmony and live in a utopian society, if they complete their high school education together in San Dimas. To ensure this, they are aided by Rufus, a visitor from the future, who supplies them with a time machine shaped like a common phone booth (stored at the back of their favorite convenient store), which they regularly use to go back in time to speak with historical figures of art, literature, and music.
