"A Haunt of a Thousand Voices!" is the twenty-fourth episode of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? season two, and the fiftieth overall. It aired on October 1, 2021 on HBO Max. It was written by Michael Ryan, produced by series creator, Chris Bailey, and directed by Frank Paur.

In this episode, the voices of Mystery Inc. are the celebrity guests, when Mystery Inc. visits the home of Frank Welker, who is recording a new cartoon about mystery-solving teenagers, with Grey Griffin, Matthew Lillard, and Kate Micucci.

  • The episode title is a reference to the nickname Mel Blanc had, "Man of a Thousand Voices," which was also the name of a 2008 documentary about him.
  • With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Fred this time.
  • Velma says "Jinkies" thrice.
  • Daphne says "Jeepers" twice.
  • Fred says "Hold the phone" four times.
  • Shaggy says "Zoinks" thrice.
  • Grey is always on her phone while working, which is what she is known to do in real life.
  • The monsters come from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!: Redbeard's ghost from "Go Away Ghost Ship," Charlie from "Foul Play in Funland," Captain Cutler's ghost from "A Clue for Scooby-Doo," and the Creeper from "Jeepers, It's the Creeper!"

Errors

  • When Frank meets the gang for the first time, Daphne acts elated to see him as if it's the first time she's seen him in person, but she's already supposed to be a friend of his.
  • Over the title card, Fred announces Grey as Grey Griffin, but when the gang sees her on Kate's phone, they call her Grey DeLisle-Griffin. Neither is incorrect, but couldn't they just have been consistent? Does she really need to keep on being both DeLisle-Griffin and Griffin? I mean, pick one, already, please.
  • It's never explained why the cast chose the monster disguises they wore, except for the implication of Velma's name in the script that Mystery Inc.'s lives are just a product of the entertainment industry. Mystery Inc. are also mini-celebrities as Kristen Schaal and Macklemore are big fans in "The Horrible Haunted Hospital of Dr. Phineas Phrag!" and "The 7th Inning Scare!," respectively.
